Why would you do something like this not allowing a someone to see there dying partner simply because they are not heterosexual is pathetic. What's wrong with people today seriously.

Well, Mike...it's quite simple: Whether you use religion or so called "family values", it's relatively easy for many people to justify bigotry in their own minds, because they convince themselves it's not really bigotry in the first place, because bigotry is ONLY when you don't like someone because they're a different race, or religion. According to people like the c*nt who wouldn't let the lesbian visit her dying partner, they see homosexuality as a 'wrong' and 'bad' choice...and of course, when someone 'chooses' something we perceive as bad, it's easy to put them in the dreaded 'us and them' category. This is also the first step in dehumanizing someone...so even if that dyke had a life with this person, "they're not like a REAL man and wife couple" so even if it's obvious this person is upset and suffering, she 'not a real person' so her feelings don't count. So in short, Mike, DEHUMANIZATION is how these people are able to treat others like this...and politicians and religious quacks have enjoyed a lot of success by exploiting peoples' dislike of us 'fags.' So, that's why I don't go to church anymore and would never vote Republican again until this batch of assholes is out of power.
